Our Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program
At Tranquil Palms, we offer a women’s alcohol addiction treatment program in beautiful Palm Desert. In our recovery center, you’ll find an intimate setting, with a high staff-to-client ratio.
During group therapy sessions, you’ll meet other women who have gone through similar experiences. You’ll build a network of support that is invaluable on the road to recovery.
One of the foundational elements of our treatment program is spirituality. We believe that recovery from alcohol addiction shouldn’t just focus on the physical effects of alcohol, but on the mental and emotional effects as well. Regardless of your beliefs or what your higher power looks like, faith and spirituality can strengthen your chance at recovery.
We also offer trauma-focused care. Many of the women in our alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs have gone through marital troubles, problems with their children, or struggles in their careers. We understand the connection between trauma and addiction and work to resolve these underlying issues.
Therapies in Our Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program
In our program, we offer a variety of addiction treatment therapy programs. These are designed to help the women in our care heal emotionally, mentally, and physically from the effects of addiction. The 12-step approach is foundational to our alcohol addiction treatment. In group therapy, you’ll go through the 12 steps with other recovery-focused women.
Some of the other therapies we offer include:
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Exercise therapy
Additionally, we offer aftercare that is designed to support our clients even after they complete our treatment program. Ongoing therapy can help reinforce what you learn in our recovery center and reduce the risk of relapse in the future.
